    Every once in a while, seemingly ordinary people make extraordinary life changing decisions and commitments. Katherine Connor is one such individual. From an unlikely encounter with a baby elephant whilst travelling she has dedicated her life to fulfil her dream of setting up an elephant sanctuary in Thailand. Her story has been a rollercoaster of setbacks and success; from the heartbreak of losing her beloved baby elephant to being nominated for a prestigious animal welfare award.

    This short promo tells a little about Bles, its past, present and future.

    Living in Thailand, Katherine and her husband Anon have worked together tirelessly to make their dream a reality. Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary is now thriving and homes 11 rescued elephants. There is only one way to ensure BLES can continue to help the elephants - with your help!

Katherine is still in the processing of raising £150,000 so that she can continue to help the elephants of Thailand. The funds are needed to develop a clinic at her elephant sanctuary, so that elephants can be treated on-site.


The sanctuary is called Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary (BLES) and was opened in the little baby elephant's honour.
